Tree removal
Big trees come down in pieces
When a tree stands over a roof, a fence or a line, we climb it and lower it in sections on ropes. Where there is room, it can be felled whole.
What is included
A climber and a ground crew
Rigging to lower each piece
Brush chipped and hauled
Logs cut to length, hauled or left, as you choose
Raking and blowing the site

How it works
From the first look to the last rake
- 01
Step 1: Look
We walk the tree with you and check what it stands on and over.
- 02
Step 2: Write
You get a written estimate with the scope, the cleanup and who is on site.
- 03
Step 3: Climb and lower
The climber rigs each section, the ground crew lowers it, and nothing lands on the roof.
- 04
Step 4: Clear
Brush is chipped, logs go as agreed, and we walk the site with you before we leave.
The price
What decides the cost
Size and position
Height, trunk width and how close the tree stands to a house, fence or line.
Access
Where the truck parks, whether a bucket truck can reach, and how far wood is carried.
Rigging
A tree that must be lowered piece by piece takes more crew time than one that can fall.
Wood and the stump
Hauled or left, and whether the stump comes out. The estimate lists each.
Removal, in questions
Do I need a permit?
Some cities ask for one for certain trees. We tell you what to check, and the answer is your city's.
Can you save my tree?
Often a split limb can be taken and the tree kept. We say which, and why, before we write the estimate.
Will it damage my lawn?
Heavy gear leaves marks. We lay protection where we can and we show you the route the crew will take before they start.
Ask for a removal estimate
We walk the tree with you and write down what it takes.
